Salary: £26,000 – £54,000 per year
Our client is a modern niche multi-law service firm based in modern offices with space for them to continue to grow and develop their talented teams. And they need to add a senior, experience lawyer to their team with specialist knowledge.
You will be a highly experienced Personal Injury Solicitor used to working with serious and catastrophic injury claims.
You will have the knowledge, empathy and gravitas that this role demands – professionalism with warmth is required here please.
The role involves handling your own caseload of litigated personal injury work using the latest
Pro-Claim case management software. All cases involve serious/catastrophic injuries and are at multi-track level.
You must be 8 years + PQE with substantial litigation experience
And:
That experience must include RTA/ELPL, Clinical Negligence and CICA
You will handle cases of complexity, causation arguments and denials of liability without supervision. You will be able to draft schedules of special damages and be able to assess awards for compensation for pain, suffering and loss of amenity and other general damages.
You will draft Court proceedings, deal with allocation questionnaires, adhering to court directions and timescales. You will prepare relevant documents for disclosure, submitting evidence and instructing Counsel or other appropriate experts as required.
So, you must be able to demonstrate that you have handled your own cases with values ranging from £25,000 to several hundred thousand pounds from inception to trial.
