Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £48,000 per year

Our client, a successful manufacturing company, is going from strength to strength. They have big plans for the future, and are looking to expand their team. They are looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician to join their busy maintenance team.

Shifts: Week 1: Fri, Sat, Sun / Week 2: Fri, Sat, Sun / Week 3: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon (12 hours)

Duties: 

• A determined and flexible attitude to ensure a timely and professional routine/breakdown maintenance service in support of the manufacturing processes.

• Reactive and planned maintenance skills, PPM.

• Problem solving / breakdown analysis.

• PLC fault finding skills.

• Capable of understanding schematic electrical drawings.

• Continuous improvements experience.

• Good communication skills.

• Strong team player.

• Basic mechanical problem solving.

• Proactive approach to engineering.

All applicants must have:

• Experience with Extraction Fans and Wood Extraction.

• Many years experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment.

• Time served with a recognised apprenticeship.

• Qualified to C&G 236 part 2 or NVQ Level 3

• 17th edition regulation certificate as a minimum.

• PLC qualification an advantage.

• Flexible and capable of working solely and/or within a team.
