Tooling Technician – Continental Shift Pattern

A Toolmaker technician is required to join a leading automotive manufacturer and engineering services provider in Redditch.

As a skilled Toolmaker technician with experience of a plastics toolroom, you will be responsible for the production of new tools, mainly the production of Automotive tooling. This company will offer an excellent rate of pay to the right candidate.

You will be required to work a continental shift pattern in return, we can offer a salary package of £50,368.

As a tooling technician working continental shift there may be a possibility of overtime, so a real chance to earn money.

As a Toolmaker or tooling technician, you will have experience from within a plastics tool environment, preferably within the Automotive sector, and the following experience and qualifications:

* Plastics tool room background
* Experience of building automotive plastic tools / tooling
* Die repairs and refurbishment
* Engineering changes
* Ability to polish out plastics as and when required
* General plastic injection mould experience
* Hot Runner beds, polishing to microns
* Improve and maintain injection moulds, punch tools, vacuum forms

This position is to be based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Halesowen, Dudley, Tipton, Birmingham, Walsall, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Lichfield, Leicester, Burton and Tamworth, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucesteshire
