Corporate Finance Analyst

Salary: £26,000 per year

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Corporate Finance Analyst for a client based in Glasgow. The role can also be based in Perth due to a business unit being located there. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a key team at the heart of the organisations financial, commercial, and strategic decision making in an exciting period of growth.

The main responsibilities the Corporate Finance Analyst position entails are:

* Financial investment appraisals across all of the organisations unregulated businesses

* Managing the Group’s credit rating

* Reviewing, assessing, and supporting M&A and project financing transactions

* Leading modelling workstreams by developing, creating, and owning financial models

* Preparation of Board papers and presentations

To be considered for the Corporate Finance Analyst position you must possess the following:

* Financial accounting qualification (ICAS, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

* Strong financial modelling skills would be desirable, but not essential

* Prior experience in a corporate finance, transaction services, or an FP&A environment would be beneficial, but not essential

* Highly analytical and experienced problem solver with a keen attention to detail

* Confident communicator who can simplify complex messages and provide high quality work on a timely and consistent basis
