Electrical Project Manager

Our client is a multi-disciplined engineering business offering design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and decommissioning services to the nuclear, oil & gas, defence, petrochemical and food process sectors. The company operates throughout the UK, Europe and internationally. They are a National Building Services company who predominantly work on high value installations, including projects such as healthcare, custodial, high end residential projects and education.
The right candidate will have a solid electrical engineering background and be able to demonstrate progression through job success, managing projects from inception to completion. You will have strong leadership qualities and be able to communicate effectively.
Our client is looking for a candidate who can lead large scale projects, including procurement, installation, and commissioning. The candidate must have extensive experience as a Project Manager, working knowledge of materials, specification and industry working practices. They will be able to promote and maintain a strong network of customers and manage customer relationships.
The position requires the candidate to be able to deliver on budget and within the time frame to the satisfaction of both the main contractor & client. They will lead the electrical project team and have total responsibility for day to day running of the project, maintaining and maximizing project profitability. The candidate must ensure that project teams and supply chain work in a safe manner at all times whilst closely working alongside the electrical team.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent is preferred.
