Quality and Health & Safety Manager

A Quality and Health & Safety Manager role in Chesterfield, South Yorkshire, working for a. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the QHS Manager will ensure the business meets and exceeds all quality criteria through inspection, testing and evaluation, whilst establishing and driving a CI culture.

QHS Manager Duties and Responsibilities Include:

– Managing and developing the internal quality control function
– Liaising with Far East manufacturing team
– Maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems
– Maintaining product specifications as well as developing new product specifications
– Responsible for product conformity
– Control the companies NCR system, dealing with customer complaints

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

– Ideally degree qualified with a good standard of education
– Knowledge of engineering / materials science
– Excellent IT skills, including the ability to use data based systems
