Our client is a well-established marketing agency providing a range of services and products to retailers and channel partners across the UK.

As they are experiencing growth and are set for much more over the next 12 months, we are working with them to source an experienced BookKeeper to look after all aspects of their accounts preparation and report generation. The role reports to their Finance Director.

This role can be worked on a part-time basis or full-time basis.

If part-time the hours would be 9.30 – 2.00 4 days a week – or similar, or

Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5.00 and Friday 8.30 -4.00.

This can be worked on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days per week worked in the office and the rest at home.

The Job

You will be looking after a range of tasks including, sales and purchase invoices processing and allocation, month-end bank and accounts reconciliations, VAT returns, month-end reports, weekly reports, creation of rebate and commission reports, preparing payment runs twice a month and general admin support.

Ideal Candidates will be

Experienced in a similar role

• Qualified with an AAT qualification – desirable not essential
• Numerate with attention to detail
• Strong MSExcel users,
• Experienced with Xero.

You will be joining a small friendly team and as this is a new role, you will be able to make the role your own. You can work in the office all the time or on a hybrid basis with only 2 days per week in the office.

Due to the rural location, you will require your own transport.
