Job Description

This role can be based out of our Alderley Edge, Hull OR Hemel Hempstead Office

We’re looking for a marketing executive to join our team and support us in the delivery of the NEC marketing strategy in the UK and internationally.

Working as part of an integrated marketing team and reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role has a broad scope covering all aspects of marketing as you grow your business areas. There will be a particular focus on lead generation and content writing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing compelling, relevant and high-quality content that will cut-through all digital channels, including social media, with demonstrable experience in growing and nurturing leads to grow the pipeline.

This work will focus on go-to-market messaging, campaigns and events to retain existing NEC customers as well as driving NEC growth areas.

Key responsibilities

• To develop, drive and report on lead generation and nurture campaigns.
• Plan and execute conferences and events.
• To identify key routes to market in UK and international markets via Industry conferences, professional groups, partners and channels.
• To work alongside colleagues in product and sales teams to support go-to-market strategies
• To understand the customer value proposition of the portfolio.
• To monitor and analyse competitor activity by product line.
• Management of internal and external events.
• To develop and manage communications plans for a variety of channels including:
  • the organisation of collateral production, case studies, articles and news.
  • Managing social media for government, housing and healthcare.
• Other reasonable duties which the company requires carrying out. 

Qualifications

Essential

• At least two years’ experience in a Marketing role.
• Demonstrable experience in B2B lead generation.
• Email marketing – experience in developing, executing and measuring email marketing campaigns.
• Writing compelling and relevant content for a range of channels including social media experience.
• Strong communication skills externally and internally – able to dialogue at CX level
• Able to work with a variety of stakeholders and assimilate their views

• Flexible and self-motivated – able to work without supervision

Desirable

• Experience marketing software and/or services to a range of public sector stakeholders.
• Understanding of digital marketing and experience in SEO and website CMS.
• Experience using Marketing automation and CRM.
