Internal Sales Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £45,600 per year

This growing electro-mechanical repairs and maintenance business, which specialise complete care for your rotating electro-mechanical assets is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Engineer (office based) for their site in Trafford Park. Excellent working environment and benefits. The successful Internal Sales Engineer will be key to the continual growth of the business. Using telephone techniques and backed up by direct and electronic marketing, you will be a well organised determined individual who will assist the General Manager by prospecting and arranging face to face sales meetings and opportunities for the Sales team. You will also be expected to develop sales, both internally, and externally by market analysis, customer contact, sales literature, promotions, events, and telephone prospecting. Other duties will include: –

• Maximise sales of all the companies’ services into existing customers and prospective customers
• Working in a team of 3
• Implement Marketing Schedule as directed by the General Manager.
• Dealing with prospecting new and existing clients
• Pass any orders onto the sales admin team to process
• Creation of marketing information and send to prospects and customers
• Locating and calling prospects to make appointments
• Ensure the customer is happy and no issues
• Point of contact for customers
• Sell all services into existing accounts
• Monitor sales revenues for customers and act to maximise sales
• Customer services calls with telephone planning
• Management of General Manager’s calendar
• Weekly reporting of activity

To apply you will have: –

• Previous experience in a similar electro-mechanical repairs/maintenance business (ideal)
• Previous internal sales engineering experience
• Happy to do outbound sales
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communicator, both verbally and written
• Understanding of electro-mechanical engineering an advantage
• Be highly committed, well-motivated, and committed to the objectives of the business.
• It is anticipated that the Internal Sales Engineer role will be split in terms of telephone account management and marketing activities.
