To be considered for this position you will need to be a confident and enthusiastic graduate who has previous experience working with children either in a volunteer or paid role and at least received a 2:1 in your degree. The school’s perfect candidate is a graduate who can clearly outline their reasons and interests in becoming a teacher and create a motivational atmosphere. The Headteacher is looking for someone with the ability to present complex topics in a clear and articulate way. You will provide a natural ability for building important relationships, be it with colleagues, pupils or parents.

This Graduate Teaching Assistant role involves you supporting teaching and learning across the school in a general role, not assigned to any particular class or department. Your duties will include mentoring individual pupils both inside and outside of the classroom and assisting SEN pupils and providing each individuals progress to the SENCo. There will be plenty of scope for personal development giving you a perfect platform to build a successful career as a teacher.
