It is an exciting time to be joining Cygnet’s Nursing team. Ongoing investment in the nursing structure means we are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses to join the Adult Services Team at Sheffield.
Reporting to the Clinical Team Leader, you will act as a primary nurse of care for allocated patients, by planning, assessing and evaluating patient programmes of care. You will ensure a daily plan is followed to meet the requirements of patients, in order to encourage and enable service users to build upon their strengths, understand their risk behaviours and keep positive about their lives and treatment options, moving back into the community being the goal.
The successful candidates will be qualified to RN3 in mental health, with experience gained within a mental health setting. A broad understanding of relevant mental health policy, legislation and clinical practices is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain high standards of patient care and be professionally responsible for the assessment of care needs, working within the culture of improving lives.
