Salary: £19.2 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN:

4 on – 4 off (days only)

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our Client are a local supplier of Biomass technology to the manufacturing sector providing cost effect solutions to business’s looking to create onsite power generation and steam generation.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND time served engineering qualification

* Previous experience working on site services or steam raising plant.

* BOAS would be advantageous

* IOSH or NEBOSH

* Experience carrying out plant walks and fault finding on Mechanical equipment.

ROLE INFORMATION: Operators would be responsible for the safe operation of a biomass boiler house. Ensuring You’ll be working directly with critical elements of the plant, making sure everything runs safely and efficiently, in a way that complies with environmental legislation. It means continuously monitoring, controlling, assessing, and adjusting plant processes, and applying your expertise to any problems that arise.

Successful candidates will spend 3 months training on plant process’s and developing skills so that they can safely operate this Biomass plant. Ideally candidate will have excellent HSE knowledge and have come from an industry such as manufacturing, process, anaerobic digestion, or power generation.
