Qualified Social Worker Within Fostering

Tradewind Social Care currently have a great new opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a Fostering Team in North London

Duties:

To provide an effective and high quality social work service within Fostering

Undertake tasks related to the recruitment, assessment, training, monitoring and support of foster carers

Appropriately meet the needs of looked after children and young people requiring substitute care

Maintain close links with social workers in the adoption team in respect of children for whom adoption was previously agreed

Participate in assessment groups for prospective carers; leading on particular parts of the assessment process

Provide written and verbal information and make professional and informed judgements on the suitability of applicants to be approved as carers

Requirements for this role:

To have proven experience within this field

MUST hold relevant qualification i.e. DipSW, BSc, BA/MA etc

MUST be HCPC registered
