**Close to an over ground station – close to the borders of Croydon, South London
**Scale 4 spine point 18-21 £20,664 to £22,647
**Full Time position – 35 hours per week – 52 weeks a year
**flexible working pattern between 7.00-18.30) plus possible overtime for lettings

This School Caretaker role requires someone who has previous experience in the same role, and the skills to take on various maintenance and security duties across the school.

Main Job Role

As a Premises Officer or Caretaker you will be tasked with the general upkeep of the school while keeping strictly to school safeguarding and data protection regulations. Reporting to the business manager, you will be in charge of making sure the security systems are working effectively. It will be down to you to ensure gates and entrances are kept secure and that parking laws are observed. It is of the utmost importance that you maintain a healthy, safe environment across the school which will mean cleaning and testing fire bells, entrances, as well as the gas, water and power meters.

With so much to do and a large, friendly team of Premises Officers to join, this is a varied, challenging role that will require someone who can work well both in a team and individually.
