Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

Salary: £18 per hour

A new permanent and full-time opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer is available with my client who are leading air conditioning and refrigeration business. Their ideal candidate will have proven experience and expertise with close control VRV air conditioning systems and refrigeration equipment.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer role:
The successful Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for customer site visits to service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to a high-quality standard. You will diagnose, fault find and problem solve on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in commercial, industrial and occasionally domestic sites. Complete maintenance calls in line with customer maintenance agreements. Manage van stock levels, service / time sheets and associated documentation.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer requirement:
Proven experience as field service engineer
Qualified with Refrigerant handling – City &Guilds 2079 or equivalent
Qualified with an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Proven knowledge as a mobile air conditioning and refrigeration service engineer on commercial, industrial and domestic sites.
Confident with a variety of equipment such as split systems, VRV’s, VRF’s, Close Control, Chillers, Industrial refrigeration units, cold rooms and AHU’s.
City & Guilds 6187-21 or equivalent (desirable not essential).

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer package:
Hourly rate depends on experience but between £18/ £18 per hour
Overtime at a rate of 1.5 weekdays and Saturday with double time Sunday
Pension 25 days holiday + bank holidays
