Job Title: Area Sales Manager/Sales Engineer

Location: Homes based role covering the Midlands and the South of the UK (Base in South Staffs)

Salary (Negotiable circa £36,000)

My client; Has built a great reputation amongst a diverse range of sectors for supplying easy to use and cost effective remote monitoring systems.

Due to a growing interest in their Tank Monitoring systems, they are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover the South and the Midlands.

The Role

The role will involve selling my clients products into a diverse range of OEM’s

This will involve new business as well as growing an existing account base

Covering the Midlands and the South of the UK

The Sales Engineer will be selling instrumentation products including sensors for measuring pressure, temperature, proximity, stress, etc.

Utilise a solution focused, Technical, value added sales process

Selling directly to end users and OEM’s

The candidate

Has a recognised qualification in an engineering discipline or has gained working experience

of selling Sensors, telemetry, remote monitoring solutions or process control systems
A proven track record of success in generating new business

Great relationship building skills so as to grow and nurture existing accounts
An interest/passion in the development of the ‘Internet of Things’, M2M and Data Logging

Is fluent in Microsoft software packages

Is a natural inquisitive problem solver who is always looking to improve processes?

Has excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in the English language.
