Electronics Design Engineer – Fareham – £30K-£40K
Electronic Design Engineer required for fast growing manufacturer of specialist computers.
Requirements:
The Electronics Design Engineer will have the following:
* 3-5+ Years working in electronics design, ideally spanning both analogue and digital design, including micro controllers
* Some experience in embedded microcontroller software development desirable but not essential
* Experience in using circuit schematic capture for documenting designs (Preferably Orcad)
* Experience with PCB layout of own designs (Preferably PADS)
* Experience in debugging, validation and verification of hardware designs and preparation for NPI into manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for:
* Electronic Circuit & Embedded Firmware Design
* PCB Design
* Prototyping, Validation, Verification and Certification
* New Product Introduction & Stakeholder Engagement
* FMEA, Risk and Project Management
General Responsibilities
The Electronics Design Engineer will be expected to:
* Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the role.
* Undertake self-development to continuously improve knowledge and skill set for the role.
* Maintain a high standard of personal professional behaviour with colleagues, and all other stakeholders.
* Adhere to the BMS (Business Management System) framework of ISO-9001/14001 Processes, Work Instructions, policies and all other associated documents.
* Plan work and make the best use of time on appropriate role based activities.
* Continually strive to find better, faster and more efficient ways to conduct your role.
