Salary: £180 – £204 per day
*** Data Centre Cabling Engineer – Contract ***
I am currently working with an industry leading client, who have a requirement for an experienced Data Centre Cabling Engineer to join their existing team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be experienced in cabling, patching and all aspects of BAU Data Centre Support. The role will be based on a shift rota.
Job Requirements
– Cabling
– Patching
– SSP’s
– Installations
– Experience of Ticketing Systems i.e Remedy
-Some Knowledge of Servers, Rack & Stack
Skills/Experience
– 3 Years + Data Centre Experience
– Thorough understanding of Data Centres protocols and procedures
– Ability to fault find and resolve issues using cabling diagnosis equipment
– Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally & externally to facilitate the completion of both large and small installations.
Due to the role being based on a shift pattern, the successful candidate will be based locally to the Leicstershire area.
