Assistant Accountant

Salary: £30,000 per year

Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a successful company based in Hull who have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to work across the group and to be trained to become a fully qualified Accountant (fully funded)

The salary of up to £30,000is a starting salary and will grow as you become more qualified and more involved in operational accounts.

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparation of accounts, budgets, and financial statements to trial balance stage 
• Assisting with the preparation of both Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns, together with relevant computations Book-keeping and preparation of VAT returns
• Utilising software packages to retrieve and record information
• Performing bank and PAYE reconciliations

As the Trainee Accountant you will need to have:

• Experience within accounts

• A willingness to train further and take on more responsibility
• The ability to work in an exciting enthusiastic environment where a high level of attention to detail is required
• Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
• Proficient in MS Office (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word)
