This is an exciting opportunity for an out and out sales person to join this well established, money rich business based in the South West. A specialist in retail design and Point of Sale/ Point of Purchase and display solutions, the business has a healthy turnover and many old and new clients which mainly consist of brands and house hold names that most would recognise. Having had a phenomenal year last year they have acquired several new major clients to add to their portfolio and with this in mind they would like to continue this trend for 2015 and into 2016.

Duties:

Establishing new clients and potential new clients via the businesses existing CRM system and any other media or tools available.

To make quality to calls to prospective clients and establishing new contacts within those businesses.

Communicate effectively with all internal departments, passing over leads to the Sales Director and other internal contacts.

Manage and maintain accurate records.

Constantly over achieving targets and KPIs to reach and deliver on sales forecasts.

Proactively follow up on industry events and movements to spot potential leads to follow up.

Keep up to date with industry news and changes in order to maximise potential sales opportunities.

Requirements

A tenacious and hungry aptitude, highly motivated and not afraid to go the extra mile.
Excellent telephone manner with the ability to speak to individuals at all levels.
Good IT skills
An understanding or direct experience of the retail design/ point of sale/ point of purchase industry is critical.
A good level of education.
A background in cold calling or winning new business from scratch.
Candidates will also be able to provide proof either through longevity or statistical evidence of success in previous roles.
Candidates will either live in the south west already or be prepared to move there on a permanent basis.
