BREAKFAST CHEF (À la carte)–
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Breakfast Chef to join our clients Kitchen team.
We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Breakfast Chef who has the talent and ability to prepare and produce consistently high quality food during very busy breakfast shifts.
As a Breakfast Chef you will take ownership of your section’s mise-en- place in terms of quantity and quality and deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef. You will also ensure that breakfast food is cooked and presented as outlined in the outlet specification manual and as per the standards recommended by Leading Hotels of the World.
The Breakfast Chef will work with a dedicated team of chefs and take ownership for presenting new ideas for menus, presentations and working practices to your Sous Chef and Head Chef. It is also the responsibility of the Breakfast Chef to monitor portion control, fresh food and dry store orders to ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum. Our desired Breakfast Chef will be passionate about working and have the desire to progress a career in a leading five star hotel.

Our client’s establishment consists of 330 rooms, three restaurants and bars and a fully equipped health club and spa. The hotel is a major conference and banqueting venue that can cater for up to 500 people for a cocktail reception in one of its fifteen function rooms.

Our client invests heavily in staff training and development. Their managers run in-house courses daily and external training consultants make visits throughout the year to develop staff in specialist subjects.
