Section Engineer

A leading main contractor is seeking a Section Engineer with civils and tunnelling experience to work on a Crossrail Station upgrade in East London. The role is working night, with the occasional weekend and will be an ongoing contract.
This is a great opportunity to add a high profile project to your CV and to work with a one of the largest Main Contractor’s who has many multi-million pound projects underway throughout London and the UK.

As the Section Engineer you will be responsible for:
-Assist Sub Agent in ensuring all operations are carried out safely during the night shift
-Produce and deliver work package plans and task briefings
-Assist in the supervising of sub – contractors on site
-Day to day package management and coordination of the site/subcontractors both within the package and interfacing to ensuring programme delivery
-Delivering as built and quality assurance documentation
-Management of health and safety systems
To be successful in this Section Engineer role you need to be;
*Degree/ HNC qualified
*Have a valid CSCS
*SMSTS is desired
*Previously worked as a Section Engineer, Senior Site Engineer, Site Engineer, Engineer, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer
*Experienced in tunnels, fit out, and station upgrades
*Must be proficient with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork
*Previous experience on a rail project in the UK
