Software Engineer – Permanent –Bristol – £Neg DOE + Relocation Assistance
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Leading Oil & Gas organisation for a Software Engineer within Subsea to join their Bristol site on a permanent basis.
The Role
As Software Engineer, you will be:
* Reporting to the Engineering Manager
* Responsible for designing, developing and testing software within industrial internet products & services tailored to the organisations needs
* A subject matter expert within Wonderware Systems Platform for the department
* Leading analytical & design activities
* Ensuring Cyber Security best practice is followed throughout the department
Desired Skills
To be a successful candidate for this position, it is vital you have:
* A degree within an Engineering or Science based discipline or equivalent industry experience, with proven Software Development experience
* In-depth working knowledge of Wonderware Systems Platform across development and deployment – a qualification would be advantageous
* Strong communication skills
Ideally, you would have prior exposure to co-ordinating several projects simultaneously
