Head of Health & Safety and Estates

Salary: £55,031 – £58,565 per year

Dedicate Recruitment is seeking an experienced professional to join a dynamic and growing multi-academy trust in the East Midlands, to shape the future direction and strategy of the Health & Safety and Estates team.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Head of Health & Safety and Estates will provide high quality leadership and management for all aspects of the Trust’s estates, facilities and health & safety. The postholder will ensure high levels of legal and regulatory compliance in relation to health and safety, identifying any areas of actual or potential non-compliance and act as a trusted Advisor to the Trust’s Executive Board on all matters relating to Health & Safety.

The successful candidate will bring comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of health & safety, current legislation and risk management. NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma qualified you will be the lead person for all major capital projects including managing the tendering, implementation and snagging so they are completed to time and budget and are fit for purpose.

You will be a natural communicator and able to engage with a range of different audiences. Previous experience of working across multi sites in education is desirable.

This is an on-site, full time, all year through post. The successful candidate will hold a current Enhanced DBS check or will be subject to one. Car driver essential.
