Salary: £28,800 – £32,400 per year
Medical Claims Advisor Part Time
Our client one of the leading law firms based in Colchester in the Top LEGAL 500 recommended practice. Have an exciting opportunity for a part time medical claims advisor to join their busy Clinical Negligence & Person Injury Team.
The Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team handle many different types of claims, and have a track record of achieving multi-million pound settlements and awards for many clients.
The Role
- Assist the Clinical Negligence Solicitors with new enquiries
- Carry out initial fact- finding meetings with new clinical negligence claim enquiries and cases
- Consider the medical issues and advise people who have concerns about the quality of the care they receive
- To produce relevant chronologies of medical records
- Contact medical experts
- Keep clients up to date with all relevant information
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Carry out other ad-hoc tasks that assist the team
The Candidate
- The ideal candidate will possess either a Legal or medical background
- Knowledge of clinical negligence or personal injury preferred
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- The ability to multitask
- 21 hours per week
