Pay Range: £26,000 per year dependent on experience

Teachers UK are seeking excellent teaching assistants to work in Primary schools situated in Derbyshire. These are supply positions which have a possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team and have the following qualities:

Hold a current recognised TA qualification
Have recent experience of working within a classroom environment
Have knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum complexities
Ensure the individual needs of the pupils are met through working closely with the class teacher.
Support the teacher in all aspects of classroom organisation.
Follow the school’s behavior policy to support all learners
Actively take part in professional development, and sharing expertise and experiences as required
Work alongside other members of staff to review and innovate the curriculum
Work co-operatively as part of a team
Interact with data outcomes in order to identify areas for development
Support the planning of strategies to close gaps in progress and attainment
Work with groups/individual learners to support progress
Be organised & timely in meeting deadlines
Have a positive outlook on school life
Develop positive relationships with parents
Be enthusiastic, energetic & passionate
