Commercial Sales Manager

Salary: £48,000 per year

Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting a fantastic business in Shaftesbury who are recruiting for a commercial manager to join the team on a permanent basis. 

As a commercial manager you will be responsible for overseeing the business development needs of the company, working closely with the head of commercial in handling key accounts, managing company relationships and generating business opportunities. 

Key Duties: 

•  Working with the head of commercial to identify opportunities sing a range of methods to engage with potential customers, including cold calling, trade fairs and networking. 
• Manage ongoing relationships with established wholesale and third party customers, work with a wider contact centre team to ensure there is support for these customers as well as opportunities for growth. 
• Identify and engage with new wholesale customers. 
• Identify and engage with corporate promotional gifting occasions by identifying brand loyalty opportunities. 
• Coordinate requests for bespoke products and ensure a timely response throughout the quoting process. 
• Liaise with the product team to ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined and agreed with regards to product cost, quality and delivery times. 
• Draft commercial agreements and documentation. 
• Resolving contractual and commercial issues as required. 
• Analyse sales and other reports that give insights into how the company can make adjustments to improve performance. 
• Follow up website lead generation opportunities. 
• Successfully resolve customer queries quickly and efficiently. 
• Manage, train and develop commercial sales assistants and conduct regular one to ones and annual reviews.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm although some flexibility required during peak season with a salary up to £48,000for the right candidate.
