Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £78,000 – £90,000 per year

Senior Quantity Surveyor | £65,000 – £75,000 | London / Essex / Herts | Main Contractor | Perm

We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading refurbishment contractor on a permanent basis. 

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will step into an important role from the outset, working across a minimum of 2 projects whilst also mentoring and guiding 2 other surveyors.

Current projects fall between around the £1m-£7m mark but the company is also involved in multi-million-pound framework agreements with various housing associations and local authorities.

Typical works include replacement windows, rooves and doors, M&E, Sprinkler installations, external and communal decorations and repairs, fire door upgrading works, cladding replacements and upgrades, firestopping, kitchen and bathroom replacements / refurbishments.

The Surveyor will be joining an extremely strong commercial team comprising 40 + people at various levels, working from the head office and site accordingly. There is also the opportunity for some flexible working. In terms of progress, this business always looks to promote within so the scope for promotions will always be there for the ambitious, hard-working and determined.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience of working on refurbishment projects on the aforementioned packages to join an industry leader in this field of work. And with several current live projects, a number of long term frameworks and a strong pipeline of work, the post holder will be kept extremely busy over the coming years.
