A specialist financial services organisation are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their friendly and hard-working team. The role requires you support the Marketing Communications Manager, and the wider marketing and design team, in a range of marketing activities, from PR campaigns and digital, to copywriting and branding. This is a role suitable for a Marketing, Business or English graduate, or somebody with up to 12 months experience in a marketing related role. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly competitive industry and join one of the market leaders in the West Midlands.

As a Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for:
• Developing marketing and PR campaigns across a variety of different brands within the group
• Coordinating a managing a wide selection of different advertising campaigns across the brands, both on and offline
• Organising and project managing a selection of different events
• The design and distribution of email marketing campaigns
• Project management of marketing collateral, from the initial brief through to the creative development and print
• Adhering with brand guidelines at all times
• Using a range of digital channels, including email, web and social media, to attract new clients
• Copywriting for a variety of different outlets, both printed and digital
• Working with the rest of the marketing and design team to develop both innovative and creative ideas
• Ensuring all marketing tasks are completed on time and within budget

For this Marketing Assistant role you will have:
• A degree in either a Marketing, Business or English related degree
• The ability to be both a creative writer and thinker
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work to strict deadlines
• Commercial awareness
• Excellent written, social and communicative skills
• The ability to work within a close-knit team
