Salary: £28,800 – £31,200 per year
Our client is seeking to employ an experienced Stock Control Operative for their
JOB ROLE
A vacancy exists for a Stores person who is flexible and multi-skilled in a range of duties. The role includes the control of the site Goods Inward area and stores spare parts issues and receipting. Other duties include the control of the annual stocktaking, housekeeping, deliveries and preparation of spare parts kits for the engineering teams.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake fork lift truck training if not already qualified.
QUALIFICATIONS
Numerate with a good command of English language.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Customer focused with excellent administration skills with an understanding or experience of stock control systems.
Basic knowledge of Manufacturing processes / Plant & equipment would be advantageous.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & BEHAVIOURS
Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal & communication skills – both written, verbal, face to face and on the telephone. Knowledge of computer systems. Team Player. Flexible attitude to duties.
Accurate and conscientious.
