This Teaching Assistant position is the perfect position for candidates who are keen to gain experience within a school setting before embarking on teacher training. You will be offering general class support and immersing yourself in all aspects of school life. You will have a good standard of English and Maths and work closely with teachers to offer the very best general support across classes.

The school is a larger than average all through academy school catering for ages 3-18. The 3-Form Entry Primary phase was recently judged as ‘Outstanding’ across all areas. The school is a popular choice among local parents having been built as part of the local government regeneration plan providing an excellent open plan and modern learning environment. Outside the school has separate play areas for nursery and one for the upper ages as well as a brand new soft play area.

This successful all through academy school is found in the heart of East London offers excellent public transport access from a number of London Underground and Overground services including but not limited to Central, DLR and TFL Rail services.

To join the QT team and be successful in this Teaching Assistant position you will need to:
-Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
-Have previous experience of working with children
-Be able to help maintain high standards of education

This Primary Teaching Assistant role is offered on a long term, weekly paid basis at a daily rate of £26,000 per year.
