Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer for our prestigious client based in Chard.
This position has been given to us as a Maternity Cover contract.
Main Responsibilities:
• Negotiation of existing contracts whilst also sourcing new suppliers for products that the company are bringing to market.
• Working closely with the New Product Development team to source new components essential to the project prior to launch.
• Liaising with and supporting in the supply chain and logistics staff ensuring that the site has sufficient stock levels to function correctly.
• Speak to and work with the buying departments based with the other companies under the group umbrella.
• Co-ordinate and manage new items bought into the business and the launches.
• Occasional travel to other sites when needed.
The working hours for the position are: Mon-Fri – 8:00-16:30
Salary – £30,000 – £36,000depending on skills and experience
