Web Designer, with Dev Skills

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

The main duties & responsibilities are:

* Building Websites from Flat Designs

* Taking a ‘flat proof’ from their inhouse design team & develop it into a fully functioning responsive website, rich with transitions, animations & effects that compliment the design

* 2 years’ commercial experience of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, WordPress, PHP (for WordPress), Illustrator & Photoshop

* Researching, Updating & Maintaining Plugins

* They mainly build websites on the WordPress platform, using this software will require the use of multiple plugins, you’ll be expected to update, troubleshoot & research plugins that are needed to keep their websites secure & functioning

* Support Tickets & Customer Service & be required to answer any support tickets, liaising & updating customers & the sales team accordingly

* Working with MySQL & PHPMYADMIN to hook up databases

* Setting up hosting accounts

* SSL certificates (adding & updating)

* DNS record management

* Working alongside other designers, marketers & content writers to build websites for online marketing
