International Sales & Marketing Director

A superb opportunity with a profitable and fast growing global provider of e-learning and learning technology solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership and marketing experience within the e-learning and/or learning technologies sector. Commercially astute both tactically and strategically, with ambitious career plans, the individual will build teams, business plans and drive the growth of the business with a full international remit.

Key Responsibilities

*Ongoing development of the marketing strategy with an international perspective
*Lead the global sales and marketing team (primarily UK but also international)
*Collaborate with the senior management team to drive the company’s commercial business plan, strategy and vision
*Further develop and manage commercial policies and procedures
*Build strong relationships with senior contacts within the learning technologies industry, key clients and strategic partners
*Build an international global market presence for all e-learning and learning technology related solutions
Candidate Requirements

*Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience within the learning technologies sector (e.g. bespoke e-learning content, learning management systems etc.)
*Minimum of 3 years of experience within a senior management sales and marketing role
*High level of gravitas, ability to influence at senior level
*Adept at being both tactical (‘hands on’) and operating at strategic level
*Experience in managing budgets (P&L responsibility) and managing sometimes complex commercial contracts
*Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills
*Experience of managing and growing successful sales and marketing teams
*High level of cultural intelligence
*Willing to travel on an international basis when required
*Enthusiastic, ambitious and always willing to learn
