Deputy Supervisor / Team leader
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Supervisor, for an exciting new opportunity working within one of our prestigious operations based in the Derby area of the East Midlands
The Deputy Supervisor in this role will be responsible for organising small teams of Inspectors, training and supervision, reviewing documentation, along with the daily liaison with engineering teams and managers.
Applications for this role are welcomed from experienced Supervisors and Team Leaders, who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar team leader / supervisory role, ideally within an automotive manufacturing or supply chain environment. Consideration may also be given to experienced inspectors, who can demonstrate the ability to lead and supervise small teams.
A good understanding of the manufacturing process, quality procedures and documentation is beneficial, as is previous supervisory experience.
We are specialist service providers to the vehicle manufacturing industry and their supply chains and this is an excellent opportunity to join our team.
The Deputy Supervisor in this role will be required to work on a rotating shift basis including morning shifts and afternoon shifts, so applicants must be willing and able to do so, as and when required.
In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a pay rate of £11.75 to £14.69 per hour depending on the shift worked.
Because of the location of work, applicants must have their own transportation and be willing to travel.

Based in the Derby area this role is commutable from Stoke on Trent, Ashbourne, Sudbury, Leek, Burton on Trent, Stafford and Cheadle amongst many other areas of the Staffordshire and Derbyshire regions.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic DBS criminal record check.
