An experienced Development Engineer is required on an initial 6 month contract basis to work for an industry leading aerospace manufacturer.
As a Development Engineer you will be highly involved in new product development, this will include assembly techniques and test methods. You will create and undertake a wide range of testing to ensure that each product is fit for purpose.
The Development Engineer will be able to capture test data, analyse and understand production reports, create a range of test reports and select appropriate equipment and test rigs to ensure the product meet the exacting standards of the customer.
The Development Engineer will be very client facing, gaining a strong understanding of the product requirements, interpret these into specifications and tests, perform various testing on site and off site to high standards and be able to present the results and reports on a technical level.
The successful Development Engineer will be suitably qualified in an engineering subject such as mechanical, aerospace, automotive etc, have experience in a similar development role within a high technology environment and strong customer facing skills and have a thorough understanding of hydraulic systems.
