R&D Chemist

Salary: £28,200 per year

 My Client based in the West Bromwich area are currently seeking a R&D Chemist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a family owned company working as part of a highly skilled Production team within a busy chemical manufacturing facility.

The primary duty of this role is ‘hands-on’ organic synthesis at bench scale. The Research Chemist’s function is to evaluate and cost initial customer enquiries, to develop a robust process suitable for scale up and to produce small scale samples for internal and external evaluation.

We are looking for a PhD or graduate chemist who is passionate about organic chemistry. The position would suit a newly qualified PhD/graduate who is after their very first industrial experience.

Salary is £28,200plus 25 days paid holiday (and all UK Bank Holidays)

A 36.25 hour working week. 08:45-16:30
