Senior PHP Developer and Programmer, Software House, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Up to £48,000Basic Salary plus benefits. As projects could also involve clients in Asia and the USA there will be the opportunity to work flexible hours (i.e. start later and finish later than conventional UK working times)
This is a Senior PHP Development and Programming role with an established niche software house that offers London salaries without the commuting cost, time and hassle!
Situated in offices on Furzton Lake in West Milton Keynes with marvellous views, free parking and walking access to cafes, restaurant and the local shop, Web Office Systems were established in 2002 and build customer facing applications that solve the day to day challenges faced by businesses.
They are experiencing significant growth and are looking to add to their team additional Senior PHP Web Developers. You will be working within a small team of web developers and process analysts and will report directly to the technical director. The role will involve developing full cycle web based applications using PHP and MySQL (with related technologies).
Key Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge and experience of PHP and MySQL
* Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
* Experience of end-to-end software development
* Experience of working with and debugging code written by other developers
* Good communication skills
* Strong analytical skills
* A good team player with positive attitude
* High degree of enthusiasm
You should be able to produce, modify and maintain web applications and as the role is working closely with non-technical colleagues you must have terrific ‘soft skills’. In addition to the above, which are a must have, any additional programming language skills and experience of system integration will be a significant advantage.
