Finance Analyst

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Global manufacturing business are seeking a finance professional as a Finance Analyst for a business facing position. The role will support internal customers to assist in the development and execution of strategy, achieved through the provision of insight, analysis and performance monitoring.
 
The role focuses on providing a high quality, professional and efficient service to a range of customers, involved in product development, project management, manufacturing, selling and marketing.
 
This is a key role, requiring you to develop a sound understanding of the business in order to partner with the appropriate senior management and their teams.
 
Main responsibilities include

Providing support for any financial/commercial decisions undertaken within the businesses, with a focus on delivering improved profitability/profitable growth
To prepare forecasts and plans for the appropriate business area on a periodic basis.
To provide regular insightful analysis and interpretation of the business results, highlighting opportunities for improved performance and risk management
To provide advice and support in the preparation of bids
To manage and deliver financial projects as required
To ensure the business operates within the financial controls and procedures set by the Group. 
To develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across all levels and functions 
You will need to be able to demonstrate

Business partnering, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Experience of an ERP system – preferably SAP
Strong excel and analysis skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and ‘can do’ approach to work
Team player who embraces change and possesses a continuous improvement mind-set
Ability to work autonomously in the company
