Our client Aldi is one of the fastest growing Supermarkets in the World. We have Permanent positions for QC Assistants to work in the Quality Control department at the new Regional Distribution Centre in Goldthorpe.

As a Quality Control Assistant, you will be required to achieve compliance with all internal and external guidelines and regulations and contributing to a co-operative environment will very much be the bread and butter of these roles.

Your duties will include:

Checking and measuring the quality and specification of relevant products against the current product specifications.
Training Quality Control Assistants where appropriate.
Updating all relevant departments with information regarding product quality in the agreed format.
Checking Intakes as required.
Working with 100% accuracy at all times.
Placing orders as and when required.
Maintaining a stock of fully calibrated equipment required to conduct the QC role.
Liaising with suppliers, internal and external auditors and store managers when required.To be considered for the role of Quality Control Assistant, you must have:

Vast experience in a similar role, such as Quality Assistant.
Possess previous quality experience ideally within fresh produce.
Excellent Communication Skills (Oral & Written).
Good Excel and Outlook skills.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail whilst being able to work to tight deadlines.Due to the required training and location of the Regional Distribution Centre your own transport would be beneficial.

Opportunities available include working days to suit:

Positions are offered on a Permanent contract.
Contracts are part-time, working 5 out of 7 days, which includes working on weekends.
The working hours start from 2pm – 10pm
Contracted to 16 hours per year.Salary: s are £26,000per year temporary if you work between the hours of 2pm – 6pm
