Account Executive

A fantastic opportunity is available for an energetic Account Executive to join an established company that champions the need to communicate with consumers in a way that enhances the relationship, not destroy it! Based on Bermondsey Street, London Bridge, the successful Account Executive will earn £21,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.

As the UK`s largest independent data communications group, the company works with some of the UK`s best loved and most notable brands, helping them to decipher customer data in order to create more targeted, better responding marketing campaigns. As an Account Executive, you will be the ‘go to` person for a nominated list of clients as well as supporting a number of Account Managers on larger client accounts. Day-to-day as an Account Executive you`ll be tasked with the following duties:

– Single point of contact for client projects at an operational level
– Liaising with the Operations team to progress data projects
– Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
– Ensuring that agreed service and delivery targets are met consistently
– Revenue generation through upsell/cross selling of products and services
– Working with the Account Manager to develop key relationships, identify opportunities and maximise revenue
– Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports/account plans for each client

Previous experience in the data for marketing industry would be advantageous, but not essential. You may have recently graduated, or you may have a couple of years work experience. It is likely that you are a graduate in Business Studies, Marketing, Mathematics, IT or Geography. Attitude and aptitude are key, and the following skills/attributes are essential:

– Must be highly numerate and of graduate calibre
– Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work at all times
– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
– Strong problem solving and analytical skills
– Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
– Ability to cope with conflicting demands and prioritise tasks
– Methodical with excellent organisational skills
– Apetco FastStats experience would be an advantage
