Transport Manager / Transport Supervisor

Salary: £37,200 – £42,000 per year

Pyramid8 are currently recruiting for their client in Morley who are looking for a Transport Manager to oversee a small fleet of vehicles, planners and look after the processes.

Are you a Transport Supervisor and looking for a step up to Manager or are you a Transport Manager who is who is working 7 days a week overseeing 100’s of vehicles, if yes then I would love to hear from you?

The role will be managing a fleet of 6 vehicles / drivers and overseeing a large client.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Managing and overseeing a major client

* Liaising with planners

* Implementing new processes and best working practice

* Managing the drivers

Required experience:

* CPC in National Road Haulage Operations

* Technical knowledge of vehicle engineering legislation

* Construction and Use regulations,

* Drivers Hours and Tachograph’s, FORS’s and have experience in managing drivers.

* An HGV Class 1 is advantageous as assistance in vehicle movements will be required.
