The Role
It is becoming increasingly important to gain school experience before embarking on a teacher training course. Working as a Teaching Assistant will equip you with the skills, confidence and knowledge that will illuminate any further teacher training application. Tasks of a Teaching Assistant will vary across primary and secondary schools, however typically you can expect to lead booster and intervention classes, support the classroom and contribute to extra-curricular activities.
