Salary: £34,800 – £36,000 per year
My client a market leader in the Telecoms Industry are looking to recruit a Software Analyst to join their team in the Manchester area.
The role will require the following activities to be performed:
Identify defects in automated application builds and report issues in tracking systems
Manual functionality, look and feel and regression testing
Working to strict deliverable targets and objectives
Utilising office software packages to an intermediate level, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel
Interact with developers to assist with issue recreation through to resolution
Ability to write simple SQL queries to analysis results directly within Microsoft SQL Server relational databases.
Assist in implementing and maintaining software test methodologies to maintain the quality of testing within other products across the company
Provide support to internal and external customers directly and through instructions implemented by the team.
Support the development of end-user training methods and documentation to assist external customers and internal support teams
Liaise with other team members to analysis operational procedures and to highlight problems
Performs other duties as assigned within area of responsibility
The Test Analyst role would be working within an established team of seven people.
