Quality Control Operative (Trainee Ripener)

Our clients based in Normanton have a new vacancy for a trainee ripener within their busy warehouse environment. Operating on a Thursday to Monday shift pattern, working hours of 7am to 4pm,
successful applicants will be:

Flexible and able to work weekends and cover holidays when required
A car driver (Due to the location of the site, there is no public transport access to this place of work)
Have some experience within a quality control position
Be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 18 Kilo regularly
Possess strong administration and planning skills
Be a logical thinker with excellent attention to detail
Able to use IT packages such as MS Word and MS Excel proficiently

Please note the successful candidate will be expected to spend at least 2 weeks working at another site based in the Midlands within the first couple of months of employment in order to receive detailed training and operational information.
