An excellent opportunity has become available with an established M&E Contractor for a time-served Estimator to join their growing Electrical Division based in East Kent.

After their business being primarily mechanically biased, their Electrical portfolio has seen rapid growth and requires an Estimator to be at the forefront of their tendering new build projects up to £2M. You will be expected to be part of the design process for some bids, providing your technical expertise in design meetings to ensure the final specs will meet the client’s highest quality standards and to the proposed budget.
You will also be able to show your ability to forecast additional expenditures during the construction phase by making allowances in the bid’s proposed budget for any stages that could encounter complications.
Communication skills will be essential by attending Pre Contract meetings with clients, aiming to develop long-lasting relationships that could lead to future work and introduction of new clients.

Electrical education is an advantage, however it is essential to have proven experience as an Estimator for electrical new build projects.

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000per annum (negotiable with experience)
Company car can be provided but an allowance is available if preferred.
