Quality Control Assistant

Our client is located in the Faverdale area of Darlington and have an immeidate requirement for an experienced Quality Assurance assistant to join this small friendly team. You will work a permanent 2pm – 10pm Shift, which will include Saturday sand Sunday working. You will have a good eye for detail and have excellent IT skills as you will be using a number of IT packages.

Your role will involve;

– Conducting a range of checks on goods.
– Inspection of incoming products against specifications
– Report any quality issues or non conformance issues.
– You will liaise with suppliers
– Carry out a range of sampling duties.
– Accurately record information
– Log and file information / updating a range of systems.
– Support other members of the team.

This role is well suited to a candidate who is comfortable working in a busy environment, it does involve entering the warehouse environment and lifting and moving of goods to allocate products.

This role requires a highly attentive individual ooking to join this progressive and reputable employer.

You will have previous administrative or warehouse stock based experience. You must be available to work the shifts set out above, and some weekends. This is a 12 week temp to perm position.
