Salary: £26,000 per year
Warehouse Operative / Order Picker required in Faversham.
Our client is a national distributor working on behalf of a local heritage brand. They work closely with unions to create a positive work environment and great working conditions for their team. Agency staff here usually stay on long term, demonstrating job satisfaction and longevity in their placement.
About this Warehouse Order Picker job opportunity:
* Pick orders by hand, with some products being quite heavy
* Picking orders using a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) (training given in house)
* Movement of stock
* Preparing orders for dispatch
* Reading picking sheets, warehouse documentation and reports
* Completing paperwork
* Use of in-house systems
* This is an ongoing, full time, long term agency placement
Warehouse Order Picker shift pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* 13:00-21:00 (1pm-9pm)
About you, the ideal Warehouse Order Picker:
* Previous order picking experience preferred
* Other warehouse experience will be considered, as well experience within other industrial settings, including factory and yard work.
* Able to read reports and picking sheets, accurately extracting information and matching it to products
* Comfortable with repetitive manual handling
* Available long term, looking to develop a career with a national brand
