DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

LOCATION: HULL

SALARY AND BENEFITS: 25,000 – 30,000

SUMMARY: An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen within a local and successful company for a capable and driven Development Engineer with competency in either chemical or mechanical engineering principles to join the business and bridge the gap between the commercial and production departments.

ROLE INFORMATION:

As Development Engineer, you will report into the Product Manager and will play an essential role in the development and testing of new products being released to the market. You will liaise with technical departments, customers and sales teams across Europe. The Development Engineer will play a critical part engaging in new product development and working with key stakeholders to ensure the company can deliver in line with customer requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

– Degree or equivalent level understanding of Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
– Proven experience in the development of products within a business.
– Proven experience in liaising with multiple departments / customer interaction.
– Experience in project work
– Experience working in a laboratory environment performing testing activity.
– Capable communicator with a strong understanding of NPD activity.
