PLC Software Control Engineer – Yorkshire – Special Purpose Machinery – £36,000 – £50,400 DOE + package
Samuel Frank Associates require an experienced Software / PLC Control Engineer to join a very well established and well regarding special purpose machine manufacturer in the Yorkshire area.
The client is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience of software design of industrial automation in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience of working with either or both Allen Bradley PLCs and Siemens S7 PLCs is required.
Knowledge of British and international standards relating to the design and installation of industrial automation systems as well as experience of conducting assessments and generating technical documents to support the compliance to the Machinery Directive and other British and international standards will stand you in good stead for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities include –
· Provide a high level of skill in interpreting the customer’s and regulatory requirements to ensure software designs are aligned.
· Ensure that design quality is maintained throughout the project
· Communicate accurate project status to the Software Manager, internal and external customers and suppliers
